Hailed as “a phenomenon” by TIME magazine, Tim is renowned as one of the leading players, makers, and teachers of the uillean pipes, as well as for his emotive artistry on wooden flute, tin whistle, and mandolin. Among many others, Tim has performed with Mick Moloney, Liz Carrol, Billy McComiskey, Daithi Sproul, Jimmy Keane, Eileen Ivers, Seamus Egan, John Doyle, James Kelly, Paddy O’Brien, Pat Egan, Brendan Bolger, Johnny Cunningham, Robbie O’Connell, Gerald Trimble, Bela Fleck, Patrick Ball, Na Casaidigh, and Bua, appearing on over fifty records. He has been featured on A Prairie Home Companion, All Things Considered, and many other radio and television shows. Tim is also an award winning sound engineer and producer.
